Students discover how the voice works and explore the essential building blocks of singing, including:

Practice

Through guided exercises, students strengthen their technique, develop greater control, and learn how to use their voices safely. Each lesson gives students practical tools they can continue using at home.


Apply

Students bring their new skills into age-appropriate songs. They learn how to apply healthy vocal technique while communicating the meaning, emotion, and character of the music.

By the end of Module One, students will have a reliable warm-up routine, a better understanding of their unique voices, and the foundational skills they need to sing with greater ease, confidence, and expression.

Dana Benedict is a passionate vocal coach, performing arts educator, and professional performer with more than a decade of teaching experience. Her career has taken her around the world, where she has studied a variety of performance techniques and incorporated them into her unique approach to teaching.
Dana helps students of all ages and skill levels develop healthy vocal technique through breath support, placement, focus, pitch training, music theory, and songwriting. Drawing on her experience as a singer, dancer, and clown, she brings movement, imagination, and creative expression into every lesson. Students receive supportive, personalized instruction that builds confidence, strengthens technique, and inspires a lifelong love of performing.
